Your information

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it and the choices available to you.

Last updated: 22 September 2026

1. Who is responsible for your information?

Jammy Frog Limited, trading as The Verified Academy, is the controller of personal information collected through the Academy. Company number: 09437173. Address: 56 Villiers Road, Watford, WD19 4AJ, United Kingdom. Contact: romain@jammyfrog.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, login and authentication information.
  • Learning information: test answers, scores, module responses, notes, saved progress and completion status.
  • Purchase information: purchase status, price, currency, Stripe transaction identifiers and access entitlement. Stripe handles full card details.
  • Technical and usage information: device, browser, approximate location, IP address, pages visited and interactions where collected through platform analytics or consented tracking.
  • Communications: support requests, account-deletion requests and other correspondence.
  • Marketing preferences: cookie choices and whether you have agreed to receive marketing communications.

3. How and why we use information

  • To create and secure your account, provide tests, save results and deliver course access. Our lawful basis is performance of our contract or steps taken at your request.
  • To process and evidence purchases, keep financial records and meet tax, accounting and legal obligations. Our bases are contract and legal obligation.
  • To respond to support requests, maintain security, prevent misuse and improve the service. Our basis is legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.
  • To send marketing where permitted. We rely on consent where required, and you may withdraw it at any time.
  • To measure website use and advertising effectiveness. We seek consent before using non-essential tracking where the law requires it.

We do not use your test answers or course notes to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.

4. Services and organisations we use

We disclose information only where necessary to operate the Academy, complete a transaction or meet a legal obligation. Providers may include:

  • Base44: application hosting, database, authentication and platform analytics;
  • Stripe: payment processing and fraud prevention;
  • Google: sign-in services and, if enabled with consent, advertising measurement;
  • LinkedIn: if advertising measurement is enabled with consent;
  • Vimeo: hosting any embedded course video content;
  • professional advisers, regulators, courts or authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your test answers, course notes or account information.

5. International transfers

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections. You may contact us for more information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

6. How long we keep information

  • Account, results, notes and progress: while your account is active, then deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period following a valid deletion request, subject to legal retention needs.
  • Purchase and tax records: normally six years after the relevant financial year.
  • Support and account-deletion records: normally up to two years after the matter is closed, unless needed longer for a legal claim.
  • Marketing preferences: until you withdraw consent or we determine the information is no longer needed.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: according to the periods described in our Cookie Policy or the relevant provider settings.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us to provide a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or transfer information you provided. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

To exercise a right, email romain@jammyfrog.com. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

8. Users aged 16 or 17

The Academy is not intended for anyone under 16. Users aged 16 or 17 must have permission from a parent or guardian. We write our privacy information in clear language and encourage younger users to discuss their privacy choices with a parent or guardian.

9. Security

We use access controls, authenticated accounts and service providers designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a strong, unique password and keep it confidential.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service, providers or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where a change materially affects your rights.
